The flight itself already feels like the beginning of something entirely unreal. The only comparison for this experience is a flight into space, or a landing on the Moon. Below you the ocean gradually disappears and endless ice takes its place. A few hours later the aircraft touches down on the ice continent. That is the moment you understand how far from the familiar world you have come. Most people will never live through a moment like it.

The Antarctica in a Day format is a chance to be on the southernmost continent on the planet and back in Africa within a single day. Over the course of the day you explore ice caves and blue tunnels, descend a glacier, and spend time inside one of the most unusual landscapes on Earth. Champagne is waiting, an ice bar, and the sense that none of this can possibly be real. In the morning you were in Africa. A few hours later you are standing in eternal ice.

You live on the ice continent itself, among rock, snow and absolute silence. By day you explore Antarctica: ice caves, blue tunnels, vast glaciers and endless snowfields that look close to unreal. You can descend glaciers, picnic among the ice, watch the sunset with champagne, ride specially built bicycles or snowmobiles, or simply look in silence at a landscape that resembles another planet. Some programmes also include flights to the emperor penguin colonies, among the rarest and most extraordinary creatures on Earth. In the evening you return to the warm polar camp.
